Activity Description | Candidates interview the supervising classroom teacher using the questions in the syllabus. Two questions relate specifically to ESOL students: How do you differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students? What accommodations do you make for English Language Learners? Candidates include a reflection on the experience that must address their beliefs about teaching and learning as it pertains to the questions asked. Candidates relate responses to what they have learned about teaching reading and assessment to date and how they would set up their own learning environment. The reflections should reference specific course work at UCF, personal connections, and include relevant Reading Endorsement Competencies and ESOL Standards |
