Activity Objective To gain experience working with ELLs in the classroom.
Activity Description Students may work with ESOL students during their field experiences. Students will be evaluated on their effectiveness in teaching LEP/ELL students by the classroom teacher. The form for evaluation and documentation needs to be signed by the appropriate school professional at the completion of the course and then will be carried over to Internship; it has to be kept by the student for their next placement. It will be collected at the end of Internship by the university coordinator.

ESOL Endorsement Standards 3.2
Activity Objective To teach a lesson to students under the supervision and observation of classroom teacher.
Activity Description As part of the learning process, the classroom teacher will conduct two observations as you teach a lesson either full-group, small group, math, Read Aloud, etc. The observation tool is the Observation and Feedback Form. This form includes a checklist for accommodations and modifications to instruction for English language learners.
